The Honey Hole

Bill & I, DiAnna, purchased The Honey Hole in March of 2007. We closed the business for the first month to clean and do a little remodeling. Our first day of being open was so overwhelming. We sold out of nearly everything by the end of the day. It was so exciting for us to buy this business. I love to cook and Bill loves the outdoor part of the business. Together, we make an excellent team. We had lost our jobs working construction and decided it was time to take our destiny into our own hands. What a good choice we made. It's like having a party every day. Sure it's a lot of work, but when you enjoy what you're doing it's so wonderful.

Bill has been an avid fisherman for so long, I can't even date it. He's very knowledgeable about outdoor activities. He's a huge asset to our business.

I have worked in restaurants most of my adult life. I've always wanted to own one myself and now here I am with this one! We have awesome food and a great staff. I should tell you about our specialty, but it's all so good I can't pinpoint just one item.

Besides the cafe, we sell fishing and hunting supplies, fishing and hunting licenses, trapping supplies and more.

We have had visitors from 47 states and 8 countries since we first opened. People come in and tell us that they are from another state and one of their friends told them about our business. They would tell us they just had to stop and check it out for themselves. And they are always pleased and impressed. We feel so blessed. God is so good to us. It's hard to believe that our little business is known from California to West Virginia, from Wisconsin to Mexico and everywhere in between.

We treat our customers like friends. We show them respect and we try to help them have a great day, whether their day is just starting out or ending. We hope they smile when they leave. And they ususally are.
